The Fleet Tactical Escort Retrofit is a good ship for tactical officers that r looking to do PVP and PVE if u build ur spec correctly. My current ship that i have is well geared and is also tough to beat if u have gone up against me you would know. i will post my spec in this post.
My ships specifications:
Hull Strength - 42,901
Shield Regeneration Rate - 246.4/6 seconds
Power Transfer Rate - 110% (5.5/%)
Bonus Defense - 80% at impulse speed
Bonus Accuracy - 27.7%
Critical Chance - 8.9%
Critical Severity - 66.8%
Flight Speed - 48.26
Turn Rate - 50.2 degrees/second at impulse speed
Space skill points set up:
This skill set is based on all cannons and 1 duel Beam Bank for Beam overload ability, the reason for not having any torpedoes or mines is cuz torpedoes is too slow when its trying to get to a target, what i mean by this is torpedoes are mainly used for doing direct damage to a ships hull. So by the time u have brought down a ships shields in any vector and u fire a torpedo depending on how close ur ship is to ur target the shield vector would have already regenerated enough to where ur torpedo is ineffective.
Ship Equipment:
My equipment on my ship is all MK XII all my weapons are advance fleet weapons i use two different types of weapons as u can see in the screenshot i am currently using polarons for PVP, i also use antiproton for pve for my deflector, impulse, and shields are the Omega set MK XII my warp core is a fleet warp core that transfers weapon power to my engines the reason i chose that warp core is cuz my weapon power is already at 125/100 and that is as high as it goes for me and so far my power hasnt gone down in my weapons so my engine power goes up and my weapon power stays the same, so if ur going to choose a warp core choose one that doesnt sacrifice any power from ur highest power lvl like if ur an engineer then u want to get something that diverts shields to prolly auxiliary. I also have all MK XII of the polaron phase modulator that increases polaron damage, as for my other consoles i have a cloaking device, the assimilated module, and a MK XII fleet RCS accelerator in my engineering consoles, in my science consoles i have the Zero-point energy conduit, and a Tachyokinetic converter.
Ship Bridge Officer Skills:
My Bridge Officer Skills i have 2 Tactical Team abilities, 2 Attack Pattern: Omega abilities, 2 Cannon Rapid Fire abilities for my tactical bridge officers, for my engineering bridge officers i have 2 Emergency power to shields abilities, for my science bridge officers, i have a Transfer shield strength, and Hazard emitters.
